1. Gone with the Wind
The working title was “Tomorrow is Another Day”.
2. Pride and Prejudice
Was originally “First Impressions”.
3. Atlas Shrugged
Was originally “The Strike”.
4. Sherlock Holmes
Was originally called “Sherringford Holmes”.
5. Wide Sargasso Sea
Two previous working titles were “The First Mrs Rochester” and “Le Revenant”.

My favorite is Star Trek, which was originally supposed to be called "Wagon Train to the Stars." God damn.
Thank goodness that was changed. Otherwise there might be Wagoner/Wagonie debates raging.
