I did it!

After much studying and even more worrying, I passed the national certification exam of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences. I made it! I'm the prettiest! Uh, well, not that last one.

The last few days of waiting for the results were the worst, because I started dreaming about the damn results, or lack thereof. I was also consumed with the utterly irrational fear that I had forgotten to sign the form that came with the exam, meaning the whole thing would have been invalidated. But it's finally over. Now I can celebrate! And get a job, of course.

*dances around*

MANY CONGRATULATIONS! All that sacrifice and hard work has now paid off. You must be elated and wondering what to do with this sudden glut of spare time you have.

Enjoy before you embark on the next part of your life quest. Get kitted out, make sure your NPCs are ready and prepared, then hit the taverns ;)

Very well done, once again.

Kind regards

Mark K

Until we see the other members of the CSMLS, we can't really judge. ;-P

Wonderful news! I never had any doubts.

Whatever happened to that last job you applied for? Any nibbles from your "lost kin"?

Mark - Thanks very much! Though there's not much spare time. I've completed the first part of a new book and sent out query letters as well as applying for jobs. Most days I wake up at half past five, which is an improvement from waking up at half past four as I used to do during clinical placement.

Sarp - Thank you!

Lee - It does feel wonderful. Best thing that's happened to me so far this year.

Randall - I think right now, we ALL feel pretty. :)

Maria - you're the third person to tell me they had no doubts in me, which is very sweet. Though I felt like I had enough doubts for both of us. :)

I haven't heard anything from Dr. Sri Lankan, but the deadline for the job was the end of April. Hopefully now that I passed the exam and can apply for certified membership, I should be getting more nibbles before then.

LM - Thank you! It's just such a relief to have this over. Waiting really is the hardest part.

Loren - one of my friends joked that I should thank my father for praying for me. :D
