There's one in a reference library, but it'll probably be a while before I have the time to get there and read it in the library. Shoot. :(Marian Pererahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15700524210146863718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2125325709844932289.post-70287515682821715242010-11-21T20:35:12.506-05:002010-11-21T20:35:12.506-05:00Marian:

TPL has only non-circulating copies--in the Merrill collection, or the Reference Library stacks (by which they seem to mean storage).

There is one circulating copy at York University's Scott library, but that really only helps if you're a York Student or are up in this end of town enough to merit coming in and spending the time to read it.

Or you could haunt used bookstores, but who knows when a copy would come available?Randallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13636853512160544410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2125325709844932289.post-90412450210144962862010-11-14T13:49:36.464-05:002010-11-14T13:49:36.464-05:00Cannibalism has always freaked me out. Although Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, I've never that short story of his, and I don't intend to. :PW.B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05841802857427762014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2125325709844932289.post-40588440662296111792010-11-14T09:19:41.978-05:002010-11-14T09:19:41.978-05:00Murr - I love dark humor. Now I'm curious about how the pregnant woman convinces people to keep her alive.

And the scene where the rescuers arrive is always chilling. They have plenty of air and power, but eventually run short of food.

What makes it interesting is that one of the characters is a young woman--a pregnant young woman, who not only knows that she must survive but is able to convince the others that she must. She becomes immune to the drawing of lots.

The last scene, when the rescuers finally arrive, is downright chilling.Randallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13636853512160544410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2125325709844932289.post-45813266337815504072010-11-11T02:29:57.986-05:002010-11-11T02:29:57.986-05:00I've always thought I'd be yummy.
